Finally Fall?

I took yesterday off, since I work all day Sat, the powers that be say it is ok to take a weekday off, nice eh? Anyway, did some work on tomorrows API lecture and chilled. Got my new Tennessee drivers license... Why is it so difficult....had to have a birth certificate or Passport and two bills addressed to my home here. Why can't a valid license from another state be sufficient? I guess I understand that they want to assure you actually live in TN, but a lot of folks don't just happen to have a birth certificate or passport (I have both, but that is just because of my trip to Nevis).

Fall may finally be here. We live in the country, 30 minutes East of Memphis and there are a lot of deciduous trees, ie they will change leaf colors... fall is a beautiful time of year, but then spring is also and I look very much toward the changing of the seasons... I think I would have really missed that if I had stayed on Nevis.... I do admire the students and faculty that stay there, particularly the faculty that have made that commitment and live there full-time. I think I could do it, the money is good, the teaching is relaxed and the climate is bearable. I think after time passes, I would even stop missing the seasons and the US. Got to go to Patho lecture now... giving back the exams. Class average was 63, so I expect a lot of whining and begging for points. We shall see!

Sorry, but the RSox are going down (I am not really sorry)! Glad the Braves bounced back! GO BRAVES!
