Family Day at BCHS

Our campus is having it's annual family day. I brought my wife and daughter so they could enjoy some outdoors activities. My daughter wanted to ride a pony, but it turns out she is too heavy! Cut of at 90 lbs. Oh well, I left her jumping in one of the large ballon type things that kids love to jumpn in while I came back to teach my lab. API sure has a lot of complainers, but I guess I might have "whined" a bit too back in my days. Now as a Prof, I am the one giving all the work, going too fast, testing too hard, etc.

Fall finally came I think. The temps are maxing out in the high 60's, low 70's and the sun is plentiful. Great time of year for me! Love the cool, but still able to enjoy being outdoors. Very little rain so far in Memphis. I am afraid that we will get way more than this later in the year. Worst part about the rain is my commute to work and back.... rain just causes so many more accidents and since I had my, rain related also, I am much more apprehensive on the roads.

Well, best go start my lab. Giving a quiz on tissues, then they have to learn the appendicular skeleton, with the midterm next week!

Looks like you're in the losers circle too when it comes to the World Series playoffs. So sorry to hear of your loss. Haha. You're missing rainy season in Nevis. Aren't you lucky?
